SBL Advice
I found this helpful blog post over at J.C. Baker's blog today. I'm considering going to SBL this year and this would be my first year going. My main concern is lodging - I was wondering if anyone had the "skinny" on places to stay in Boston that won't cost me an arm and a leg, travel advice, meeting advice in general, etc. Bestow it all on us you pro-SBLers.

When you register for SBL you will have an option to make hotel reservations that are close to the convention center. A friend of mine just registered yesterday and got a hotel about 1 mile from the convention center. That's probably the best you can do. This is the best way to get your accomadations; otherwise you will pay much more or be miles and miles away from the convention site.
