Indeed, Nick Norelli over at Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth announces that Esteban Vázquez has moved over to Wordpress. I'm really beginning to wonder if I should convert.
Here are Esteban's new digs: http://www.voxstefani.wordpress.com

Yes! Convert!
Here's the thing - I'm just not cool enough to have an "about me" page. That's what scares me away from Wordpress.
Don't do it, Josh! Stay strong. I don't know what all the fuss is about. I actually prefer Blogger.
Josh> Well, you don't have to have an "About Me" page! As a matter of fact, I just deleted mine. I have plans for that static page space.
Doug> I have been a Blogger user since 2005, and while I like it very much, I find that WP gives you a great deal of control over content (not only posts, but also comments) that I have wanted to have for years. The only drawback is that you have to pay for CSS alterations to the template, but this is not such a big issue nowadays: back in the day, you had to code every little detail in Blogger to get it to look just the way you wanted, but since the advent of the widget, there isn't much difference between what you can do with newer versions of Blogger and what you can do with WP.
For what it's worth, I recently switched to WordPress from Blogger and find the switch to have been well worth it! BTW, I give Nick N. the credit for my conversion!

Josh: As Esteban said, you don't have to have an "about me" page. You can rename that and make it anything you want or delete it completely.
Doug: For me the fuss is about commenting. It's easier on WP and it fosters more conversation. The only advantage I see to Blogspot is that it supports a zillion and three widgets, but the people who use that many widgets have blogs that take forever to load and are ghastly to look at!
Jason: I'm just glad that your day of salvation came!
Nick: I like my widgets. I don't care so much about the comments. Aren't you breaking some kind of rule you have by even commenting here at Blogger? We don't want to cause a brother to stumble . . .
Honestly, Josh, if your content with blogger, there's no reason to change. That means people have to change their feeds and their links to your blog, etc. I've used both, although hosted on my own domains, and both get the job done. (I do prefer Wordpress, btw). On the other hand, if you're looking for a change, or even want to change the name of your blog, since we all know you're not an NT Student anymore, Worpress is the way to go. There. I've added absolutely nothing to the discussion.
Doug: For the sake of evangelism I comment on Blogspot blogs. ;-)
Josh: Allow me to offer the Amplified translation of Brandon's comment: "Honestly, Josh, if your content with blogger [then] there's [something wrong with you]. . . . I've used both, although hosted on my own domains, and . . . I do prefer Wordpress. . . On the other hand, if you're looking for a change, or even want to change the name of your blog, since we all know you're not an NT Student anymore, Worpress is the way to go."
This is just the information I am finding everywhere. Thanks for your blog, I just subscribe your blog. This is a nice blog.
