SBL Boston - wicked awesome

It is official - I've booked my flight, registered for the conference, and have even found lodging (I'll be staying with Douglas Mangum of Biblia Hebraica fame). I'm extremely excited as this will be my first SBL. I'm trying to figure out which papers I want to go see, what pubs I want to go drink at afterwards, etc. I'm definitely going to visit the Cathedral while there (it's only about a mile away from the hotel).

Congratulations! I had hoped to go, but alas, I'm going to be moving back to the US in a month, and all my resources will be drained. Well, next year in New Orleans! ;-)

Hopefully the cathedral will be unlocked when you are there. Last time Laura and I went (it was a weekday) the doors were locked and we could not go in and pray.

My plan is to just bang on the doors screaming "Sanctuary!" - that, or karate chopping. I haven't decided.
